In the course of researching travel videos on Singapore, I found many entertaining and interesting videos by content creators. Here are some of them.

Evelyn and her sisters (the Ha sisters) visited Singapore for the first time, stayed at Marina Bay Sands hotel (so not budget travellers... or budget travellers with a HUGE budget). If you like their chaotic energy and sass, here's their second video.

A Very Singapore Chirstmas. Video by Lottie and Tom from UK

The video captured the crowds and festive atmosphere on Orchard Road, and the Christmas Market at the Supertrees Grove, Gardens by the Bay.

Tom did advised that if you do not like crowds, stay away from Orchard Road during Christmas season. The Supertree Grove is usually free but because of the huge crowds around Christmas, they have a Christmas market and ticketed the venue. So come visit Singapore during Christmas and see how we celebrate Christmas in the Tropics without fear of a pandemic!]

Accommodations in Expensive Singapore may be your biggest anxiety, and largest budget item. I explained in this page : Singapore is small, and highly urbanised. There is 720 sq km of land on Singapore, and 5.6 million people (approximately), and these residents of Singapore needs a place to stay. At the same time, pre-pandemic, we attracted almost 20 million tourists to Singapore each year (and hope to do so again, post-pandemic). And we only have 70,000 hotel rooms. (In comparison, Bali attracts 1/3 the tourists, and have more than half the hotel rooms of Singapore. Correspondingly, the hotel rates there are cheaper. Not that I am recommending Bali for your travels .) But there are low-cost options. Singapore is NOT going to be as cheap as Bali, or Chiangmai, or Hanoi, but there are (relatively) low costs options. Hotels under $50 (as at 2022)
